Just when we thought we weren't really going to have much snow this year, it snowed enough to close school for one day and delay for two hours the next day. The first morning we got a call at 4:30 that school would be delayed 2 hours, than at 6:30 another call that school was cancelled for the day. Those 4:30 calls are really annoying. It was only about 3 inches at our house, but Nancy had a lot more. That afternoon we had the prettiest monster flakes I've ever seen. It was hard to work while it was so pretty outside.
Katy and Marcus went to work out the other day so Ryder stayed with us. He got to try out our newest toy and he loved it. The mirror is round and makes a pretty good steering wheel. You can really see his cow lick. It splits right in the middle of his hair line. He has had quite a time this fall and winter with a respiratory virus. He is supposed to have surgery next week, but with his cough, it may be postponed again.
We went to the Pearson Air Museum in Vancouver with Amy and the kids today. They have a display of life size photos of cockpits over the last 100 years or so that are on loan from the Smithsonian. There were also several interactive activities for the kids including a helicopter model. They were most impressed by the jets flying overhead in the Ikea parking lot. Our legs are completely exhausted. Dylan said he wants to come to Guam with us to see his cousins. He really misses them. They had such a good time last summer.
